Missile Command · Strategic missile runs — silo to target through dense defences

Overview

Missile Command strips Skywar down to one move: pick a missile, fire it, watch it survive (or not) through layered enemy defences. The six warhead classes carry different speed, damage, fuel, turn rate and stealth values.

SRBM-Scud (200 cost) is the cheap tactical strike. Tomahawk Cruise (500) flies winged and stealthy and can be steered. LRBM-Trident (1,200) is the heavy ballistic. Cluster Munition (1,800) drops bomblets on Z mid-flight. MIRV-Minuteman (3,500) splits into four homing warheads on X. ICBM-Titan (8,000) is the megaton finale.

Upgrade tree: Yield, Engine, Armor, Fuel, Flares, Stealth — each up to 5 levels. Career level caps at 20.

How to play

  1. Choose a missile in the silo lobby.
  2. Pick a target on the battlefield map.
  3. Fire. For cruise and MIRV missiles, control mid-flight (Z for cluster drop, X for MIRV split).
  4. Earn cash, upgrade, escalate to the heaviest warhead.

Stealth, flares and intercepts

Cruise missiles carry stealth (0.8) — radar sites struggle to lock them. Flares decoy nearby interceptors. The Stealth upgrade buffs stealth on every class up to a hard cap of 2 levels. Enemy interceptors track based on velocity vector, so jinking before a flare deploy multiplies its effect.

Yield vs. count

Yield upgrades multiply damage per warhead, but do not give you more shots. For breaking high-HP targets (silos, hardened bunkers), Yield is king. For breaking soft, distributed targets, MIRV split (4 warheads) outperforms a single yield-stacked LRBM.

Tips & strategy

  • Tomahawk Cruise + Flares + Stealth = a one-button "I cannot be intercepted" build.
  • MIRV-Minuteman wants medium altitude — split too low and warheads bunch up; split too high and they over-spread.
  • Cluster Munition is the best $1,800 you can spend against soft target clusters (cities, infantry pads).
  • Save Yield upgrades for after you can afford LRBM-Trident — yield on a Scud is wasted.

Frequently asked questions

Can I steer ballistic missiles like Trident or ICBM?

No — only Tomahawk Cruise responds to mid-flight steering. Ballistic flight profiles commit on launch.

How big is the ICBM blast radius?

The Titan-class ICBM has the largest yield in the game — large enough to wipe most maps in one hit. It is the late-game showcase warhead.

Is this Skywar War Room?

They share a lot of design language but Missile Command is a separate, more focused experience — silo-only, no aircraft.
