ABOUT US

Who builds Skywar.

A small independent team that ships hand-tuned browser combat games. We care about how each game feels under your hands — not about pushing you into a sign-up or a paywall.

Origin

Skywar started as a single browser game — War Room, a strategic strike simulator — and slowly grew into a full arcade. Each game added to the catalog was built with its own systems, art, audio and balance, instead of cloning a template. Today the arcade has 14 titles across air, ground, naval, stealth and strategy categories, with more in development.

How we build

  • HTML5 canvas + Web technologies. Every game compiles to a single bundle that loads in the browser. No native installers, no plugins, no app store.
  • Hand-tuned mechanics. Each title has its own physics and AI. The control feedback in Helo Assault has nothing in common with the noise meter in Vault Raid — we want every game to feel like a different decision.
  • Iterate in public. When we ship balance changes or new missions, we post about it in the devlog.
  • Local-first. Saves stay on your device. No accounts, no servers tracking your gameplay.

Editorial line

Every scenario, weapon and unit in Skywar is fictional or arcade-rebalanced. We do not represent any real military, country, or program, and we do not build games tied to current events. Combat in the arcade is stylised, decision-making is the point, and the names exist for flavor.

Ads, money, and the deal

Ads on Skywar (when they appear) are Google AdSense units placed on menu and lobby-style screens — never overlaid on live gameplay. They are clearly labelled Advertisement. We do not ask you to click ads to support us. If you would rather not see them, any standard ad blocker works fine and gameplay is unchanged. See Privacy for third-party data details.
